Me and my bf aren't doing presents.. we're gonna take a trip into London overnight together instead and go see a West End Show. Probably The Lion King cos it was amazing and I know he'd like it

Word is though he's getting me an Eternity/Promise ring as well..

If I had a girlfriend, I'll probably get her uhhhh...a giant fluffy teddy bear? Then take her up to mountains and view the winter scenery together under the stars with music playing in the background.

I get Mrs Dood the same old crap...err...I mean I send her a lovely dozen of red roses to her office.

This is my tip on this. Always spend the extra cash on sending flowers to your girlfriend/wife. By sending them to their place of employment you get extra bounce out of it. They are beeming with joy and they can "look good" to their other co-workers. I have done this for years.

My partner and I used to go away for the weekend somewhere warm and just relax, but always a picnic somewhere quiet. Her brother died on valentines day a few years ago now so we don't really bother apart from cards.

Scam? Psshah. You can THINK it started out that way - it doesn't really matter anymore. Now it's just an excuse to do something special for the one you love. Sure, you can do it all the time. But when does it really matter? If you get her something all the time, it becomes like something granted. But if you get her something really special at a desiginated time of the year.. Well, hell - that's why Christmas is so special.

I hate Christmas too... its too material.

But I guess thats the wonderful thing about being alone, you can roll in all your money while every other guy is spending $100 on chocolate we will never taste. Same with Christmas, what a wonderful feeling a heavy wallet all for yourself is.

Money can't keep ya happy for long. Besides - you get a special feeling when you do something special for someone.

And of course Christmas is material. Why? EVERYONE wants material. Christmas would blow otherwise.

I only play Anet and Blizzard, the only reason I have any EA games is because I use to get them for free by testing them before release.
